Recycle City Project

I co-led the Recycle City project 2022 - 2023 with design studio Stand + Stare. The project was founded by older adult Ruth Harrisson. Recycle City is a speculative city founded on the values of creativity, community, opportunity and welfare. Throughout a series of events and creative workshops we invited older adults to share their visions for the city using hands-on making and AI and VR technologies.

Feeling the Hospital

I collaborated with ceramicist Nicola Lidstone to create an ambiguous ceramic form to consider touch in the hospital environment. The form brought together work from a participatory clay workshop held with children and young people. I worked with engineers at the University of Bristol to create 3D printed models of the form. This work was funded by the Sensing Spaces of Healthcare project.
